Community Programs
CONTINUING EDUCATION
Our continuing education program provides an opportunity for
adults who have not completed their High school diploma to
receive their GED. Enrolled students will be introduced to
adequate math and English exercises that will allow them to pass
the GED test. Also tutoring in subjects such as math, English as
a second language, and others will be provided.
ADVANCE EDUCATION
The advanced education program aims at professionals who want to
improve in diverse areas in their fields. It is also focused on
providing to individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit the
skills required to have a competitive edge in their respective
discipline. Subject such as business essentials, marketing
essentials, leadership, working with people, business strategy,
starting your own business, and many more are covered.
COMPUTER TRAINING
This program introduced enrolled students to basic computer
skills and computer applications. Computer applications such as
MS office package, Internet, email, are covered in details. Lab
hours are provided to strengthen student’s data entry skills and
proficiency with windows applications. Basic computer and
Internet programming, database concepts, and client server
applications are also addressed.
LANGUAGE EDUCATION
The language education program exposes students to the learning
of foreign languages such as French, Spanish, English, and sign
language. This program enables student to communicate with
individuals from different countries or work in an international
business environment. As the world become more globalize such
language skills are in high demand. This program will prepare
student to take advantage of this fast growing trend. Different
clubs such as French club and drama club will provide the
student the opportunity to practice speaking, visit, and learn
the culture of these languages native land.
LIBERAL ARTS
Our liberal arts program teaches student music, voice,
instrument, and poetry. Student creativity is challenged through
the study of music fundamentals and Music literature. Enrolled
students have the choice to practice their skills either in the
band, the adult choir, the children choir, the youth choir, or
the mass choir. Students are encouraged to write original
musical pieces and songs.
LIFE PLANNING
The life’s planning program covers all major areas of an
individual’s life. It provides a broader insight to family
planning. Enrolled individuals are exposed to principles such as
budgeting, Life & Health insurance, retirement planning &
investment, Financing, and other financial planning issues.
Students learned about the operation of the stock market and its
impact on our society. This program prepares individual to face
the challenges of unlimited needs and limited resources. It
forces individuals to plan their lives and avoid the calamity of
debt, bankruptcy, and other financial disasters.
FAMILY & HEALTH EDUCATION
Our family and health education focuses on applying the
principles of leaving a happy and healthy life. The fundamental
principles of how to live without stressing your spouse to the
limit. Individuals learn how to maintain a balanced and healthy
diet. Cooking classes are provided for those who wish to
practice or learn how to cook delicious and healthy meal.
Substance abuse, time management, stressed management, basic
life safety, and other health related topics are covered.
FITNESS EDUCATION
The Fitness Education program helps individuals staying in shape
and relieving their stress. Students are encouraged to join our
sports clubs such as walking clubs, volleyball clubs, ping pong
club, basketball club, soccer club, to maintain their exercise
routines. Principles of exercising and appropriate dieting are
covered. Clubs members learn how to make exercising an integral
part of their daily routines.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
Our public relations curriculum focuses on helping individuals
mastering the art public speaking, research documentation, and
formal presentation. Students received guidance on career
orientation and scholarship available in specified field of
study. Enrolled individuals are exposing to underlying
principles of critical thinking. Students have to make formal
presentation at the end of each section to apply discussed
topics.
SOCIAL SCIENCE
Social science teaches our students principles of economics and
American government. Domestic and international cultures are
also covered in this curriculum. Students are exposed to
citizen’s legal rights and government assistance programs that
are available. This programs targets immigrants that are new to
the US social system.
EMERGENCY RELIEF
Our emergency relief program prepares community on how to
respond to major emergency such flood, fire, and other
catastrophes. Instructions on how to relieve blood, clothes,
foods, and other basic emergency needs are covered.
