LOCATION
This facility will be located at 835 Constitution Avenue, Atlanta, GA. 30039. From interstate 20, take Moreland South, Turn right on constitution avenue, the facility is on the left between the Forest Park road and Constitution avenue.

COST OF PROJECT
The initial cost of the project was 1.5 million dollars. Based on new regulations in the city of Atlanta and additional requirements by city planners, the project cost has increased to close to 2 million dollars.

FUND RAISING
Currently, our congregation members have provided most of our fund. By the grace of God, we have been able to raised about $330,000. We have already spent 80,000 for the acquisition of 5.5 acres of land. Roughly $50,000 is spent for the facility architectural plan. An additional $15,000 is spent for various surveys and studies.

FUNDS NEEDED
Due to our lack of assets, our co-signer has requested that we provide 25% of the loan as a down payment. This translates into the need of an additional $320,000 for ground breaking. By faith, we are committed to find this much needed fund by the end of December 2002.

ORGANIZATION SUPPORT
The South Atlantic Conference of the SDA has granted us $100,000 for the project. This grant will not be available until beginning of year 2004. This grant will be mostly contributive in running different community programs at the facility.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT
Many organizations across multiple denominations and industries have pledged their support in making this project a success for the community. Our members have dedicated their time, their talents, their resources, and their prayers to the realization of this project. Together, in unity and by the grace of God, we are moving closer to the finish line. With your contributions and ours, we can make a difference in our community. With the blessing that we have received, we can touch the lives of a multitude and bring hope to those who are lost in drugs abuse, poverty, homelessness, parentless, dysfunctional families, and ignorance of the almighty God.

EXPECTED START DATE
With the help of the Lord and your contribution, we expect to raise the $320,000 by the end of December. Once we reach our goal, we’ll break ground no later than December 31, 2002. We understand that it is a challenging goal, but with every body doing their parts, we cannot underestimate the potential to accomplish great things for our Lord and our community that we care for so much. The people in need can no longer wait for this much needed help, the time to get involved and make a difference is now.

EXPECTED END DATE
Based on our builders’ estimation, the construction phase of the project will last between 8 to 12 months providing decent weather conditions. We select the 10-month mark as our expected completion date. Starting by the end of December, we schedule to dedicate the facility on October 13, 2003, which corresponds to our congregation 13th anniversary. Let’s work hard to make this anniversary a memorable event for our members and our surrounding community.

PROJECT STATUS
Currently, all administrative work has been completed. The project is ready to start as soon as we have acquired the additional $320,000 for the down payment. The following has been completed.

  • We have completed architectural phase.
  • All Zoning issues & permits have been resolved with the city of Atlanta
  • All Topographic Survey and Soil tests have been conducted
  • The loan is available under SAC credit line
  • We are just waiting on your generous contribution to reach the $320,000 to start construction by the end December 2002.

YOUR SUPPORT
Obviously, this project is a challenge for our congregation and our community. Although we have limited fund, we have the will and a strong desire to make a difference in the community. We count on your support to make this dream a reality. Together, hands in hands, we can build a better future. Please do not hesitate to invest in this just cause. We would greatly appreciate your contributions and your prayers. Again, thanks for sharing your blessings with your brothers and your sisters around the world and specially those who are in need in our local community.
